It is superbly designed with a powerful quad-core processor with a smooth a performance and has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 screen protection. This is a budget phone that offers great useful features. Design

When we review LG G Vista, we encounter a 5.99 inches tall, 3.12 inches wide and 0.36 inch thick smartphone. It weighs about 5.93 ounces and feels light to carry. It has a 3.5 mm audio headphone jack positioned as well as IR blaster positioned on its top edge. It has the microUSB port for charging located at the bottom edge with other control buttons located at the rear. The speakers are positioned just below the buttons.

Display

The display reviews of LG G Vista include a 5.7 inch HD display that features Corning Gorilla Glass 3, a 1,280 x 720 pixel resolution and 258 pixel density. A 720p resolution is standard for middle tier gadgets even though it doesn’t compare to phones with 1440p like the Samsung Galaxy Note 4.

It has a 74% screen-to-body ratio with tiny bezels on the side. The images and videos produced by the LG G Vista are of good quality and look coarse when viewed at a close angle. It has a bright display and can easily be viewed in sunlight. It also has a wide viewing angle and it is sensitive to touch.

Performance

With the LG G Vista phone we experience an Android 4.4.2 KitKat featuring all Google apps like Gmail, Chrome browser, Hangouts, Drive, YouTube and much more. In addition, it has Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset that features four cores that clock at 1.2 GHz. It also has 1.5 GB of RAM that enables the phone to have a smooth performance without lags.

It is supported by the Adreno 305 that is essential when running moderately heavy games and media. It has an 8 GB internal storage and provides a dedicated microSD card slot that supports a memory card of up to 128 GB if you require additional storage.

Cameras

As part of an essential feature on a smartphone, LG G Vista has an 8 MP main camera that features Laser Autofocus. This is not an exceptional camera a smartphone should have, but being a budget phone it serves the purpose of a standard camera. The picture quality is decent when taken in well-lit environment. However, the image quality diminishes in ideal situations. It has a considerably softer focus and has a flash that provide extra light while taking a photo. With the 1080p resolution, it is capable of shooting excellent videos.

The front camera has 1.3 megapixels which means it is only suitable in well lighting conditions. It doesn’t have LED flash on the front camera but has a beauty meter which improves selfies by correcting the lighting and blur in images taken. The front camera can record 720p videos @ 30fps.

Audio

The LG G Vista has a 3.5 mm headphone audio jack together with an IR blaster and a microphone pinhole.

Battery

With a capacity of 3200mAh, the LG G Vista is one of the best smartphones with high capacity battery. Even with the bigger screen display, the battery still lasts longer than we expect. It also has an intelligent power saving option that can help to save battery power. It has a battery indicator and is rechargeable via USB port.

Features

The LG G Vista reviewed features 4G LTE support which is one of the fastest mobile telecommunication technologies. It aids fast internet load speeds and is essential for great video streaming. It allows you to access Wi-Fi hotspot as it supports Wi-Fi connectivity. In addition, it has Bluetooth version 4.0 which allows you to share files between nearby devices as well as listen to music through a Bluetooth enabled device.

Other features include GPS, accelerometer, proximity and compass sensors.

Conclusion

For high-end phablet lovers, the LG G Vista is not a perfect phone for you. The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a better option in this case. LG G Vista on the other hand is a good gadget which is budget friendly although there are some mid-range gadgets too which are cheaper like the Huawei Ascend Mate 2 4G.
