The first bit of information when comparing LG G4 vs LG v10 is that they are both products of LG. V10 is dual sim and G4 single. V10 has a fingerprint sensor and rans on android v5.1.1 (Lollipop). Both phones charge fast and are connected to 2G, 3G, and 4G networks.
Bottom line: dual sim feature in a phone will always be desired to single sim. A stronger android performance is also ideal. V10 has these features thereby becoming a better phone.
LG G4 vs LG V10: Design
The v10 vs G4 is a clear cut comparison given that v10 is taller by 10.7mm, comes in many shades of color, thinner by 1.2mm, larger by 3.2mm, and heavier by 37 grams to G4. There is no mention of the type of phone casing for both phones.
Bottom line: despite its heaviness, it has a wide base and thinner structure making v10 a better phone.

To compare LG G4 and LG v10 in performance is very easy as they have similar features. Both ran on chipset Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 MSM8992, graphics Adreno 418, processor Hexa Core, 1.8 GHz, ARM Cortex A57, and architecture 64 bit. The v10, however, does have high RAM of 4GB to 3GB.
Bottom line: given that both phones are on similar features, the only winning point is a larger RAM hence v10 is better.
LG G4 vs LG V10: Cameras
When comparing LG v10 vs LG G4, there are clear indications that G4 is slightly better in cameras. It has ISO control setting, extra features as Auto Flash, Face detection, Simultaneous HD video and image recording, stronger image resolution, CMOS image sensor, Optical Image stabilization, Phase Detection autofocus, Optical Image Stabilization Plus, and 8 MP Front Camera, all of these over v10 that has only F2.2 physical aperture as it winning feature.
Bottom line: there is nothing going for v10 here to challenge for consideration leaving G4 as better phone.
LG G4 vs LG V10: Audio
Just like almost all other phones, LG v10 vs G4 comparison doesn’t deviate from the norm. Both have loudspeaker and audio jack of 3.5mm. They also have FM radio with G4 having RDS and Stereo to its FM.

G4 allows Mass storage device, USB charging and Micro HDMI (Type D) connectivity that are lacking in v10. On the hand, v10 has large internal storage of 64GB to 32GB and its fingerprint sensor is enabled unlike G4 lacking the sensor altogether. Both phones have an expandable memory of up to 2TB.
Bottom line: choosing one phone over the other here is daunting. A choice can be made as per one’s preference on features. With extra connectivity on other devices, G4 offers much more hence a better phone.
For some reasons, from the onset, it looked like v10 had much to offer. However, the other features weren’t that impressive and it meant that a client would then have to look elsewhere for a better phone. Since comparison was with G4, it is clear that it has much to offer over v10 making it a better phone.
